S.C.U.M
Post-everything art rockers S.C.U.M will be bringing their adrenaline-y inside-out music to the Artrocker stage on Sunday evening. Listed in NME’s Top Ten Festival Bands, S.C.U.M also have a fondness for playing gigs in churches, and following an intense performance at Offset 2008, have had a fantastic year.
The band take their name from the 1968 feminist manifesto Society For Cutting Up Men. They formed in late 2007 and and released their first single - Visions Arise, produced by Tom Cowan of The Horrors - in September 2008. Drummer Ruaridh Conellan left the band in November 2008 and was replaced by Melissa Rigby.
The band recently released a collection of digital downloads called SIGNALS, stopping in every city of their tour to record a new track specific to that location. To watch the first, "WARSAW", click here.
