Panico

Panico describe their music charmingly as garage indie Latin tropical rave rock. This sums up their lovable, palpitation-inducing music quite well, but neglects to mention the 'maelstrom after maelstrom of noise, superb bass grooves, psychedelic mayhem and serious rock-riffing', not to mention easy comparisons to ESG's post punk rhythms and the dub sounds of the band's South American peers Os Mutantes.

Having conquered the underground music scene in their native Chile, Eduardo, Carolina, Memo, Seba and Squatt, with Joakim (TS-Versatile) and Cristian Vogel (Super Collider) behind the production desk, have gained a dedicated cult following in France. After a bizarre chance encounter in a Parisian bookstore, Panico signed to the deliciously discerning Tigersushi Industries record label in 2004 (www.tigersushi.com), and their last release was disco-punk offering 'Subliminal Kill'.
