Devil Sold His Soul

'The most intriguing and exciting metal band that the UK - or, in fact, anywhere - has spat out in the last few years, and they play like men possessed', says Kerrang!, awarding them the hallowed five Ks. We have to agree. It's difficult to play Devil Sold His Soul's ambient influenced volleys of progressive metal and post-hardcore with the volume anywhere near low.

Now signed to Century Media, three of the six Southerners originated from pioneers of British hardcore Mahumodo, and the band's mind-blowing art-metal, with it's 'stripped back, infectious looping of chord progressions' is disrupting the status quo in 2009.

Debut album 'A Fragile Hope' has been deemed 'a devastatingly apocalyptic record that defiantly stands out ... Thrilling, unique and utterly brilliant' (Kerrang!); 'a truly speaker-shuddering experience' (Rock Sound), and 'bleak, beautiful and brutal' (Q Magazine).
